Do I have to share a room?

Nope. Rooms aren’t shared. If you book a standard room, then you will share a bathroom with one other person. En-suite rooms are also available.

How long can I stay?

Standard tenancies for the academic year are for 50 weeks, however at certain times we may have availability for shorter term rentals. Feel free to get in touch to find out more.

Do I have to pay bills?

All bills and wifi are included in the rent. You will need to purchase your own licence if you want to watch live TV or use BBC iPlayer in your room.



Can you cater for my dietary needs?

The Bridge Kitchen is a fully equipped commercial kitchen staffed by professional chefs. The Catering Manager holds regular meetings with residents to discuss requirements. We can cater for most dietary needs but we would advise contacting us before booking to make sure.

Can I cook my own food?

Each corridor of rooms has access to a kitchenette with a shared fridge, kettle and microwave oven. We do not provide any additional cooking facilities.

Are there places I can study/work in the building?

There are several areas in the building available for studying. We have the Bridge Kitchen, the residents’ lounge, lots of sofas and picnic benches overlooking the river as well as the ACM library which is located within the building.

Where can I do laundry?

We have laundry facilities onsite.



Do I need a UK guarantor?

UK guarantors are preferred. However, alternative arrangements can be made with prior agreement. Please contact us to discuss this further.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. Our standard rooms require a £740 deposit and the en-suite rooms require a deposit of £840. All deposits are returned to residents once their tenancies end provided there are no issues to be resolved.
